Heartprints Day in memory of Dr. Princess Awoonor Williams, a cherished member of faculty who had an incredible heart for students. The day is designed to celebrate all members of the community who have touched the lives of someone at Ashesi.

ASC Week: A week of activities designed to bring students together to celebrate the Ashesi Student Council and student life in general. A pleasantly wacky string of events, ASC week includes a flurry of activities organized by on-campus clubs as well as dressing themes for each day of the week. Crazy Day is always a highlight.

Akwaaba Night
Akwaaba Night at Ashesi is known as the biggest social event to kick off every academic year and welcome freshmen to the Ashesi student community. The event is the highlight of freshman orientation week and is a night of laughs, music, entertainment and socializing. It is an event the brings the student community closer, giving freshmen a chance to know each other better, and to interact with the rest of the student body which they have become a part of.

Annual “Freshmen Vs. Continuing Students” soccer Match
The first major sporting event of the new academic year and the annual football match between freshmen and continuing students. The opening match serves as a curtain raiser for every new Ashesi Premier League Season and provides an opportunity for league teams to identify recruits.

The UBORA Awards Event
An annual Ashesi Student Council “excellence awards” ceremony during which students celebrate the spirit of Ashesi on Campus. It is an electrifying evening of glamour, great music, great food, and provides a platform to exhibit the gifted people of Ashesi and celebrate the personalities that inspire the Ashesi student community.
